Phoenix 100 Club
The Phoenix 100 Club held its first bi-annual social event of the year on Friday where draws were also made for the £100, £50 and £30 prizes.
Some 32 members members enjoyed a complimentary drink as part of their membership of the Phoenix 100 Club and discounted drinks for the remainder of the evening, as well as tucking into a very fine cold buffet provided by Joan with Maitre D’ George overseeing the evening. New members were also welcomed. The Phoenix 100 Club now has 72 members and it does raise some funds for the Club, whilst members are entered into the monthly £30 draws and at the bi-annual events ones for £100, £50 and £30. A very pleasant and enjoyable evening was had. The next event will be in November with hot food on the menu. It’s a most worthwhile club to join for all.
