Last pair give side some confidence on a poor day.

1st XI v. Four Oaks Saints

Kenilworth travelled to Four Oaks Saints for their Warwickshire Cricket League Division One fixture on Saturday 27th May.

After being asked to bat first, there was a familiar story this season, as Kenilworth slumped to 12 for 3 and were in deep trouble at a dreadful 37 for 9.
Number eleven Ed Ruswa strode to the wicket and proceeded to frustrate the home side, as he and number nine Matt Casey put on an impressive 67 for the tenth wicket.
Casey was the last wicket to fall for a fine 40 whilst Ruswa  was left 10 not out.  Dave Edmunds with 11 was the only other double figure score, as Kenilworth were all out for only 104, thanks only to the last wicket pair. For Four Oaks, seamer Minhas took a very impressive 7 for 26 off eleven overs.
The home team lost early wickets too, as spin bowler and batting hero Ed Ruswa had them in a spot of bother, Ruswa was to finish with 4 for 47 off eight overs but J. Hipkiss with 30 not out and Van Dyk with 23 not out saw their side home with no more loss of wickets, four oaks winners by six wickets, finishing on 108 for 4, as Kenilworth’s very sorry start to the season shows no sign of improving, leaving them rock bottom of the Division.

Kenilworth 104-10 (1 point)  Four Oaks Saints 108-4 (20 points).
