Kenilworth Lose

Kenilworth were no match for League leaders, Coleshill, who had been relegated from the Birmingham League. Kenilworth were bowled out for only 141 off 45.3 overs as they struggled against a tidy bowling attack in their Warwickshire Cricket League Premier Division clash. The only scores of note were 31 from Gregg Peebles, 22 from skipper Dave Edmunds, whilst James Nason posted 21, as Fahim took 4-44, Ahmed and Crotty two wickets each. Coleshill’s Pollock and Bates chipped in with a wicket a piece. Coleshill took only 21 overs to reach the winning post for the loss of only two wickets as opener Magafas hit 67, Fahim 32 whilst Ahmed was unbeaten on 27. Ed Ruswa and Gregg Peebles were the only Kenilworth bowlers to take a wicket in a match dominated by Coleshill.
