Kenilworth secured a fine 4 wicket win with 3 overs to spare after restricting Ansley to 147-7, a score that they had Brambridge 37 not out and Gosling 20 not out for reaching as the side had earlier been at 93-7 after Ali Peebles had taken 2-24 off 12 overs, Charlie Stranks 2-61, Pete Alty 2-29. Hitesh Moorthy and Geoff Edmunds chipped in with a wicket a piece. Moorthy set Kenilworth on the road to victory as he made 38 from the opening berth. Adam Huxford chipped in with 27 but it was left to Dean Martin, returning for his first game for four years following an overseas assignment, to hit the match winning runs and be unbeaten on 21 as the side reached 148-6 with 3 overs to spare.
