The Town 2’s recorded their 3rd win of the League season and consolidated their 4th place spot in the division as they eased to a 4 wicket win at Aston Unity who were bowled out for 107. Wickets were shared by the bowlers as Charlie Stranks, Stuart Clennell and Ali Peebles snapped up a brace each, whilst Pete Alty and Geoff Edmunds chipped in with a wicket each as they were backed up with excellent fielding with Rupesh Sarvankar claiming 2 catches and keeper mark Stranks a catch and a stumping. Only Hart with 36 made any score of note for Unity. The Town reached 108-6 with 8 overs of the match remaining thanks to an unbeaten 41 in which he hit 4 boundaries as he shared in a match winning partnership with son, Charlie 12 not out. Earlier, Sarvankar had made 29 as Hart had taken 4-23 and Waterman 2-28 but their efforts were in vain as the Town won with some ease.
