Sunday 2nd XI v Tamworth – 20/05/2012

Kenilworth Lose

The Town’s 40 over a side friendly with Tamworth went the visitors way after they had posted 150-9 with Giblin starring with both the bat and ball. He top scored with 54 and then took an amazing 5-8 as the Town were bowled out for 126, out of which Dave Edmunds made 56 hitting 3 sixes and a boundary and debutant colt Adam Huxford 45 (2 x4 and 2 x 6) as other players failed to show any form. Earlier spinners Geoff Edmunds snapped up 3-11 and James Nason 3-22 with a wicket a piece for Charlie Stranks, Graham Woodward and Neil Goodman but their efforts proved to be in vain.
