3rds record first League win of season

Tight fielding and bowling sees Thirds to victory

A great bowling and fielding performance enabled the 3rd XI to record their first League victory of the season at Bidford after restricting them to 70 all out. All 6 Kenilworth bowlers used took wickets led by the impressive colt Danny Boneham who claimed 3-13, Chris Beach 2-5, Ed Smith 2-22 whilst there was a wicket a piece for skipper Sam Leach, Freddie Davies and Indy Matharu. Keeper Danny Horner chipped in with 3 smart diving catches behind the stumps.  Kenilworth coasted to their target of 71 despite  losing 3 wickets as Dave Howe hit and unbeaten 23 and Smith 21 not out to secure a most impressive victory.
