Ashton under Hill proved too strong for the Town 3’s in their Cotswold Hills League clash as they posted 221-6 thanks to 70 from Capaldi, 48 from Hunting and 29 a piece from Bankes and Miles as they went on to win 93 runs after restricting the Town to 128-7 in reply. Indy Matharu was the pick of the Town bowlers notching up 3-22 whilst Jaesh Naik claimed 2-38 and Roger Kelsey 1-26. Kesley also went to snap up 3 outfield catches before he turned his hand to the bat as he and Matharu shared in an unbeaten 8th wicket partnership of 48 in the Town’s total of 128-7. Kelsey hit an unbeaten 20 whilst Matharu was 23 not out at close of play after S. Cooke had earlier taken 4-21, Farrell 2-13 and J. Cooke 1-39 after Town’s Nigel Thompson had made 27.
