The 3’s successfully chased down Mickleton’s score of 189-9 to enjoy a 5 wicket win with 3 overs to spare. Knight made 76, Watlin 31 and Wilcock Jnr 23 for the visitors. Pick of the Town bowlers was 15 year old Ben Taylor who snapped up 3-52, whilst Sam Leach returned a tidy 2-17 and evergreen Ant Kerry 2-35. There was a wicket a piece for Josh Meszar and Jack Howard. The Town has last minute replacement Pete Huxford to lead the side to victory as he rolled back the years to hit a cultured unbeaten 74 with 8 boundaries, son Adam made 25, Ali Bates 22, Nigel Thompson 27 whilst it was left to Kerry to hit the winning boundary as the side reached 192-5.
