A fine bowling performance by Leek Wootton’s Graham Couchman helped restrict Kenilworth to 146-9 from their 40 overs. He bowled 7 overs taking 3-3 in the process with Ansari taking 2-11 from his 7 overs. Langdon took 2-48 whilst two other bowlers took a wicket a piece. Young Shyaan Imam hit 50 (6 x 4) for Kenilworth to continue his fine season, Charlie Stranks was unbeaten on 40 (6 x 4) after Andy Dadswell and Gareth Knights had both made 13 before they fell. They were the only 4 batsmen to reach double figures as the side struggled to add runs.

In reply, Leek Wootton went to the winning post with plenty of overs in hand as Elliott Haynes-Sorrell made an unbeaten and match winning 54 and Moreau 52 with Budd chipping in with 15 as they reached 147-4 with ease despite Christian Mortlock taking 2-19 and a wicket each for Stranks and Matt Casey for the Town side.
