WON

Barford 113-10 (37.2 overs) lost to Sunday XI 114-8 (27.2 overs) by two wickets.

Barford’s Tobin 18 and Griffin 15 put on a 3rd. wicket 40 run partnership after losing two quick wickets as the side battled against an accurate Town bowling line up. Forshaw added 11 whilst their score was bolstered by 38 extras. Matt Dadswell took a fine 4-16 from his 6.2 overs, Matt Casey 2-7 from 6 frugal overs with Christian Mortlock claiming 2-7 whilst Shyaan Imam took 1-7 and Will Machin 1-22 for the side.

In reply, opener, Dan Horner retired when he reached 50 (7 x 4). Adam Huxford added 26 (2 x 4) and youngster Keeran Umashanker 14 as the side stuttered to the winning line as they lost 8 wickets yet reached their 114 target with 12 overs to spare despite the best efforts of Tobin who took 3-12, Griffin 2-10 and Forshaw 1-15 for Barford.
