Kenilworth Lose

Four Oaks Saints’ Ryan Ervine destroyed Kenilworth with the bat and ball as they slumped to a 173 run defeat in their Warwickshire Cricket League Premier Division match. Ervine hit a powerful unbeaten 150 off 129 balls before Saints declared 5 overs early as the side posted 284-4. He hit 21 boundaries and 4 sixes as well as sharing in a 160 first wicket partnership with Perkins 81. Ervine then took 7-36 as Kenilworth slumped to 111 all out in side 23 overs in a day to forget that leaves them bottom of the Division. Only skipper Dave Edmunds 37 and James Nason 21 had showed any resistance. Earlier, the Kenilworth bowlers had toiled in the sun with only Tom Pope, Jaesh Naik and Edmunds picking up a solitary wicket each.
