Baines very ably assisted and made an unbeaten 75 himself, also hitting 7 boundaries. Imam had also earlier shared in an opening stand of 51 with Dan Horner who made 28 before he fell but the youngsters then took control and none of the 7 Ashorne bowlers used could make any breakthrough.
