Phoenix 100 Club – April’s results

Kim’s apt century!

The Phoenix 100 Club held its first social event of the year for its members on Friday 29th. April at the Clubhouse and enjoyed a high quality “George and Joan” buffet during the evening.

Draws were made for the bi-annual prizes of £100, £50 and £25. The numbers were picked out of the barrel by Paddy Clewer and her nimble fingers.

Those fortunate to have their numbers drawn out were:

£100 – 100 – KIM ROEBUCK

£  50 – 110  – PADDY CLEWER     (no fix, honestly!)

£  25 –   22  – JON CORDEN

CONGRATULATIONS to these lucky people! Cheques in post to those who were not present on the evening.

May’s Draw will be for the monthly prize of £25.

The Phoenix 100 Club has supported the Club and from the monies it has raised it has purchased the boundary rope that can now be seen adorning the ground – the first one we have had, certainly in over 25 years, at least, as well as making a contribution to the cost of the new sight screen too which are well worth while additions to the Club for all Members to enjoy and monies well spent we trust.
