Friendly Home vs Stoneleigh CC
Kenilworth hosted a 40 overs-a-side friendly against nearby Stoneleigh CC in a stunning day at Warwick Road.
Kenilworth chose to bat first, in the sun, and struggled against accurate early bowling for the visitors. There were, however 50’s for Adam Huxford and Keeran Umashanker. With other batting contributions from Shyaan Imam (36) and Louis Smithson (11) as Kenilworth reached 184/6, restricted by impressive bowling from Sebastian taking 3/26.
In reply, opening bowling Matty Dadswell took 2 wickets for Kenilworth, however the guests never looked in trouble as they made their way towards the target. A smart run out from the boundary for Sam Ward and a wicket each for Chris Prophet, Adam and Pete Huxford rounded out the bowling as Stoneleigh reached 185/6 in 34 overs.
