Saturday 1st XI
The first eleven took the short hop to Wardens 2nds , the home side winning the toss and electing to field.
Waj Chohan made 68* off just 46 deliveries including 7 fours and 4 sixes, taking the K’s from 135 for 9 in an unbeaten 64 run 10th wicket partnership with Tom Skinner (9*). Tom Booker was second highest contributor with 34 with Henry Curran also making 30. For the home side, Aravind claimed 1 and Shetty 2 for 13. Sorrell took 3 for 55 but Tarakhel claimed the best figures 3 for 30 as the visitors finished 198-9
In reply, the home side chased the total 6 down with 13 balls spare. Keith Bell top scored with 58 and Ben Rex also made 49. For Kenilworth, Rhodes and Atkinson claimed one a piece from their 10 overs, whilst Connor Shingler took 3 for 34, contributing a run out aswell.
Kenilworth take 4 points from the game and sit 9th in the table.
Saturday 2nd XI
The second eleven hosted Berkswell 3s at Warwick Road, where the away side won the toss and elected to field.
Kenilworth were all out for 182 in the 49th over. Top scorer was Sam Davies with 45 with Babu also contributing 28. For the visitors, Akshat Sinha, Choudhury and Aslam all claimed one. Avnish Sinha took two and Gupta claimed the most impressive figures of 5 for just 34.
In reply, Berkswell were all out for 134 in the 43rd over. A bizarre innings in which S Banerjee made an extremely classy hundred including 15 boundary 4’s, whilst the second highest score in the innings was just 4 with extras also contributing 9. Bhatt and Huxford both claimed one whilst Stranks and Davies took two a piece. Babu came back with the best figures of 2 for 18.
Kenilworth claim a 20 point win and climb out of the relegation places in Division 6.
Saturday 3rd XI
The third eleven hosted Rowington, Kenilworth won the toss and elected to bat.
Kenilworth made 123 all out in the 40th over. Ben Clarke made 28, but outstanding with the bat was Yougunn making his first 50 for the club, contributing 55. For the away side Bates took 1 and A.Bird and Batchelor both claimed two each. H. Bird however took an impressive 5 for 18 from his 9 overs.
In reply, Rowington chased the total 3 down with 4 overs to spare. Sly top scored with 34 and both Haywood and Lucas made unbeaten 30s. For Kenilworth, only Ben Clarke claimed wickets as he took 3 for 21 from his 9 overs.
Rowington win by 7 wickets and and Kenilworth take 2 points from the game and sit 9th in Division 4.
Sunday XI
The Sunday side travelled to Offchurch who won the toss and elected to field first.
Matt Bain made 37 and Shyaan Imam an excellent 66 from 67 balls. For the home side , Woodward and Canning took one each , with Kenilworth falling victim to two runouts , finishing the innings 170 for 4 off 40 overs.
Offchurch made it to 99 before being bowled out in the 36th over. Top score for the home side was Morgan with 42. Wickets were spread around for Kenilworth as E.Tate and Toor took one each and Syed and Keshvala both claiming two.. Matt Dadswell claimed the best figures with 3 for 24.
Kenilworth claimed a 71 run win.
