Kenilworth’s Dan Horner starred with the bat opening in the 40 overs a side friendly match with Barford as he made an unbeaten century that saw him hit 8 boundaries and three 6’s, in his 107 not out as the side ended on 202-6. Matt Casey chipped in with a solid 50 (8 x 4) and Sam Leach 16. Barford’s Griffin took 3-30, O’Reilly 2-4 and Patterson 1-33. In reply, Barford never recovered from being 4-3 with Matt Dadswell taking two wickets in the first over of their innings. Gill made 51 and Griffin 20 but the side were bowled out for 108 inside 27 overs that gave Kenilworth a 94 runs win. Tom Best claimed 4-25 for the Town, whilst Dadswell took 2-18, Leach 2-36 and Sam Ward 1-2.
