Kenilworth 197-7 (40 overs) (18 points) beat Stoneleigh 110-10 (27.3 overs) (3 points) by 87 runs.
Kenilworth secured a 87 run win in their Arden Sunday League match against Stoneleigh after posting 197-7 with the top order on song with the bat. Adam Huxford hit a solid 66, young Shyaan Imam an impressive 51 and George Baines 45 in the side’s total. Sailish took 2-11 for the hosts, Goshame 2-52 with a wicket each for Tariq, Srinivasan and Ramkumar. In reply, Stoneleigh could only reach 110 all out after Abdul had made 23 and Gosami 22 being bowled out inside 28 overs. Charles Lamprecht snapped up a fine 4-26 from his spell for Kenilworth as Kapil Dubey took 2-14, Tom Skinner 2-18 with a wicket each for Jono Sparks and Matt Casey to consolidate 3rd. spot in the Division with a game in hand over the top 2 and only 8 points behind the leaders.

Kenilworth 98-10 (28.4 overs) lost to Rugby 101-9 (25.2 overs) by three wickets.
Kenilworth lost their last 8 wickets for only 16 runs after being 82-2 as they collapsed and were bowled out for 98 inside 29 overs after Dan Roden had earlier made 28, James Adamson 27 and Dhruv Vyas 18 as Rafel took 4-26, Winnell 2-26, Slaughter 2-9 and Desai 2-7 for the visitors, Rugby.
Rugby too struggled with the wicket but edged to the winning post and a 3 wicket victory ending the day on 101-7 off 25.2 overs despite the best efforts of Kenilworth’s Ben Clarke who took 3-14 with a wicket a piece for Christian Mortlock, Josh Charlwood, Sam Davies and Roden, as A. Wenham made an unbeaten 38 and Z. Wenham 22.
