Hockley Heath 172-6 (40 overs) lost to Kenilworth 175-4 (37.3 overs) by 6 wickets.

 

The Kenilworth Sunday XI were victorious in their 40 overs a side friendly match with Hockley Heath who had posted 172-6 with Elwart hitting 38, Haider 37 and Shams 21. Town’s teenager Pat O’Reilly took a fine 3-31 from his 8 overs whilst Matt Dadswell, Joe Tate and Rana picked up a wicket each. In reply, Dan Horner was again in the runs as he made an unbeaten 74 (7 x 4) hitting the match winning boundary as the side reached 175-4 in the 38th. over with Dhruv Vyas who was unbeaten on 18 (3 x 4) as the pair put on 57 runs together after Louis Smithson had earlier posted 36 (3 x 4).
