Sunday XI too strong for Snitterfield

The Sunday side returned to winning ways with 100 run, friendly, victory over Snitterfield

Winning the toss Kenilworth reached 212/6 with fifties for Quinn Bungard and Adam Huxford. Further down the batting line-up there were contributions from Sarfraz Hussain (24), Dhruv Vyas (16), Dan Horner (15*) and Sam Davies (14). Lee Hillier was the pick of the bowlers taking 3/23.

Tight bowling from the hosts restricted the Snitterfield reply with wickets shared between 6 of Kenilworth’s 8 bowlers, Matty Dadswell taking a frugal 4/9 from his overs, joined by Sam Ward taking 2/16. Sam Davies, Krishna Alluri, Quinn Bungard and Adam Huxford were the other bowlers to take a wicket apiece as Snitterfield were all out for 112 in the 39th over.
