In a 40 over game with almost 500 runs scored, Kenilworth came out victorious thanks to aggressive first innings batting.

Losing the toss, Kenilworth were inserted with Dan Horner opening facing 72 balls for his 43. The innings accelerated as Quinn came to the crease at number 4, scoring a high temp 101* from just 68 balls, finding the boundary regularly with 12 fours and clearing the ropes 5 times. Not to be outdone, keeper and number 7 Matt Smith fired Kenilworth to their total of 264/7 as he smashed 57 from 28 balls, with 3 sixes and 17 fours. Hollis and Hanks each taking 3 wickets for the hosts.

Despite Catridge top scoring for the hosts with 73, Kenilworth took wickets at regular intervals as both Chris Prophet and Quinn Bungard picked up 4/37 and 4/30 respectively. Taking their chances well, the other wicket takers were Joe Tate and Matt Dadswell as Willoughby were eventually dismissed for 230 inside 38 overs, falling 34 runs short on the day to end a good spirited game.
