1st XI Away vs Earlswood CC 1st XI

Ambleside won the toss and asked Kenilworth to bat first, in a rain reduced game of 40 overs per side.

Danny Boneham (40) helped Kenilworth to a strong start opening the batting, as lower down the order Adi Sellar (26) and captain Matt Casey (34*) made contributions to the final total of 172/8 form 40 overs. Randle taking 3/25 for the visitors.

With more rain forecast, Kenilworth took wickets at key times to restrict the visitors scoring. With Matt Casey (2-21), Tom Best (2023) and Sam Davies (1-28) striking for the hosts. Richard Clark with an impress 76* for the visitors hitting the last ball before more rain for 4, however Kenilworth were winners by 1 run on DLS after 35.4 overs.

Kenilworth take 20 points and climb to 3rd in WCL Division 7 East.

3rd XI Away vs Norton Lindsey CC 3rd XI

Norton Lindsey won the toss and asked Kenilworth to bat first, playing 38 overs a side after a delayed start.

Tidy bowling from Norton Lindsey made early scoring difficult, however a fine 52 (8×4, 1×6) from Dhruv Vyas assisted by Matt Bain (32) and Josh Charlwood (34*) took Kenilworth to 157/9 from their 38 overs as Watson took 5-28 for the hosts.

In reply the hosts had a strong opening partnership until Josh Charlwood came into the attack taking an impressive 5-24 from his 8 overs, Matty Dadswell taking 2-33 and run outs for Andy Dadswell and ben Kelley as the host finished just short, 148-9 and Kenilwoth winning by 9 runs.

Kenilworth take 19 points and drop return to the top of the CHL division 5.
