Dan Horner made 82 in the 1st XI Win at RMCC

1st xi 

 

The first eleven travelled to RMCC, where they won the toss and elected to bat. 

 

Dan Horner made 82 and Joe Atkinson 53 as Kenilworth enjoyed an opening partnership of 130 on their way to a total of 232 all out. Mo Naeem and Stu Cope also contributed with 27 and 21 effectively. For the home side , Khan claimed a single wicket as Naraayan and Chaudry took. Gaurav Kumar claimed the best figures with 4 for 24 off his 5 overs. 

 

In reply, RMCC could only manage 107 all out inside 31 overs, the main contributor Saif Khan with 27 off of 44 deliveries. For Kenilworth, wickets were spread around with Paul Lawrence claiming 1 and DPR, Atkinson and Skinner all claiming 2. Stu cope claimed the best figures with 3 for 9 off of 4 overs. 

 

Kenilworth win by 128 runs and take 20 points. 

 

2nd xi 

 

 

The second eleven hosted Leamington 4s at Warwick Road, with the home side winning the toss and electing to field first. 

 

Leamington could only manage 142 all out inside 38 overs with James Slora the highest scorer on 26. For Kenilworth, Ben Kelley claimed one wicket and Hepworth, Smithson and Azhar all took 2. Ben Clarke produced the best figures with 3 for 10 off of his 4 overs. 

 

Kenilworth chased the score at a canter with 26 overs remaining and only three wickets down.  Matt Bain scored the bulk of the runs with 50 off of 61 and Danny Boneham made 39. Pakhale, Abrahamson and Manokaran all claimed a single wicket each for Leamington. 

 

Kenilworth win by 7 wickets and take 20 points. 

 

3rd xi 

 

The third eleven hosted Earlswood at Harbury, with the away side winning the toss and electing to bat first. 

 

Earlswood managed a total of 165 for 7 off of their 40 overs. Troy Takavesi top scored with 59, followed by Paul Colmley who made 34. For Kenilworth, Hone, Toor, Leach and Biddles all claimed a wicket a piece whilst Muhammed Saleem took an impressive 3 for 11. 

 

In reply, Kenilworth chased the total 9 down with two balls to spare in an extremely tight finish. Biddles made a quickfire 55 accompanied by stand in captain Steph Kelley who was unbeaten on 33. For the away side Comley, Usman and Thorne all claimed a wicket a piece. Toby Ricketts took 2 for 33 and Steve Shale a tidy 3 for 17. 

Kenilworth take 16 points from the game.
