Runs flowed in the match that saw the Town side post 272-7 with Dhruv Vyas continuing his good form as he retired out on 53 (5 x 4, 4 x 6) whilst Adam Huxford hit 50 (8 x 4, 1 x 6) before retiring out himself. Ollie Berry made an unbeaten 45 (8 x 4, 1 x 6) in his quickfire knock with teenager Joe Tate adding 31. In reply three Willoughby batters made half centuries – Rayner 55, Alcock 53 not out and Deary 52, but their efforts were in vain as the side had to settle on 254-7 and 18 runs short in an entertaining match. Sam Davies picked up 3-28 in his spell for the Town, Shaan Imam 2-61 with a wicket each for Ethan Tate and Tom Best.
