Strong Sunday Win

Sunday 40 over friendly Home vs Stoneleigh

The Sunday side hosted Stoneleigh who won the toss and elected to bat.

 

Stoneleigh made 197 all out with contributions from several players. Arjun Nagra made 41 and Sailesh Kumar 32 on the way to what looked like a competitive total. Matt Dadswell took an impressive 4 for 23 and Nilesh Keshvala 2 for 19. Sam Davies and Louis Smithson took a wicket a piece.

 

In reply, Kenilworth chased the total in 29.1 overs. Quinn Bungard top scored with an unbeaten 60 (including 5 sixes). Adam Huxford made 48 and Joe Tate 45 to comfortably chase the total. There were also contributions from Sam Davies (21) and Keeran Umashanker (15*). The away sides best figures were 2 for 50 from Rushil Gholkar with the only other wicket falling to Shubham Jain.

 

Kenilworth came out winners, comfortably chasing the total and winning by 7 wickets.
