Kenilworth Cricket Club is delighted to be crowned 2026 Cotswold Hills League T20 Cup champions after a memorable Finals Day at Stratford-upon-Avon Cricket Club.
The day was played in exactly the right spirit, with four clubs coming together to produce competitive cricket and a fitting showcase for the Cotswold Hills League. Kenilworth reached the final after a hard-fought win over Kineton CC, before beating hosts Stratford CC to lift the trophy.
The Kenilworth players can be hugely proud of the way they went about their cricket, showing calmness, commitment and togetherness when it mattered most.
While winning the cup was a fantastic achievement, the competition meant more than the result alone. Kenilworth prides itself on being one club, bringing together players from across the first, second and third team. At different stages of the campaign, that club-wide spirit was clear to see, with contributions from across the squad helping to deliver a trophy everyone at KCC can be proud of.
A huge thank you must go to Stratford-upon-Avon Cricket Club for hosting the day so well and making everyone feel welcome. Their efforts helped create a brilliant setting for Finals Day, and we are grateful for the work that went into putting on such a successful event.
Thanks also to Kineton and Warwick for their part in an excellent day of cricket. The standard, spirit and support shown by all the clubs reflected well on the competition and helped make the occasion so enjoyable.
