The clubs players came together to celebrate another memorable season at the end of season awards night, recognising the players, performances and achievements that made 2026 a memorable year.
As is now KCC tradition, ‘sh*t shirts’ were plucked from the back of the cupboard, dusted off, and were on full display for the night…and beyond.
Across the senior sides, T20 squad and junior pathway, there were outstanding contributions with both bat and ball, as well as plenty of moments that reflected the talent throughout the club.
Player of the Year Awards
1st XI Player of the Year – Stuart Cope
Stuart enjoyed an excellent campaign, scoring 536 league runs at an average of 33.5 adding 9 wickets into the mix.
2nd XI Player of the Year – Jae Naik
Jae was a standout performer with the ball, taking 25 wickets at an average of 12.6, including best figures of 4/39 against RMCC.
3rd XI Player of the Year – Mani Toor
Mani delivered a superb season, taking 29 wickets at an average of 14.0, with best figures of 4/4 against Lapworth Cricket Club in July.
T20 Player of the Year – Marco Higgins
Marco was an integral part of KCC’s CHL T20 Trophy success, scoring 349 runs at an outstanding average of 87.25, including a high score of 102 against Tanworth and Camp Hill CC.
Colt Cup
Colt Cup – Gabe Hattersley
Gabe had an outstanding season, representing the club across the U13s, U14s and U15s, as well as making his senior debut. His standout performance with the ball came for the Sunday side against Welford-on-Avon, where he took 3/17.
Performance of the Year Awards
1st XI Performance of the Year – Steve Rhodes
Steve produced a remarkable spell of 7-13 against Coventry & North Warwickshire.
2nd XI Performance of the Year – Joe Tate
Joe delivered a superb unbeaten 141* against Corley.
3rd XI Performance of the Year – Dhruv Vyas
Dhruv’s brilliant 125 against Alvechurch CC was recognised as the standout 3rd XI performance of the season.
T20 Performance of the Year – Joe Atkinson
Joe’s unbeaten 83* in a crucial T20 win against Warwick was a key contribution in a memorable T20 campaign.
Most Improved Player
Most Improved – Randeep Singh
Randeep made excellent progress throughout the season, scoring 303 runs with a high score of 61, while also taking 18 wickets at an average of 14.83, including best figures of 4/31 against Moreton-in-Marsh CC.
