Kenilworth Cricket Club’s junior section rounded off a successful summer in style with its presentation night at the club on Friday 2nd October.
It was fantastic to see so many juniors from across the age groups come together, supported by their coaches, parents and families, to celebrate another enjoyable season of cricket.
The junior section is hugely valued by everyone at KCC and represents an exciting future for the club. It was particularly rewarding to see a number of our juniors begin their journey into senior cricket this summer – an exciting milestone for the players and the club alike.
Although not every player went home with an individual award, the encouragement, team spirit and support shown for one another were clear throughout the evening. Nights like this capture what the club is all about and remind us why so many volunteers generously give their time and effort to support junior cricket.
A huge well done to every junior who pulled on their whites and took to the field this summer. Keep enjoying your cricket – we can’t wait to see you back in action next season!
